SNOW!
New snow overnight and it is snowing again right now so the thin spots should be covered and our winter trails should be in good shape. We're are heading out to see Santa come down the Town Lift

Expanded Basin Rec Grooming Report

OK, so I finally measured distances on the trails today with a GPS and have more accurate distances to report.
Willow Creek Loop 5K groomed this morning, spring like conditions but coverage is hanging good
East 224 Connector Trail 2K groomed this morning from Willow Creek to Wild Oats, spring like conditions and there are bare spots on the boardwalks and by the barn
McLeod Creek Trail 6K groomed this morning from Holiday Ranch Loop Rd. to Old Ranch Road, spring like conditions with thin spots here and there along HWY 224
Ecker Hill Middle School 2K packed on Monday, thin cover and rough grooming

Looks like we will be grooming Round Valley this winter

REI Community Partners Reception


Mountain Trails Team at The REI Community Partners Reception this week. The reception event was held to "thank those whose efforts result in the protection and restoration of our recreation areas. From stewardship to creating access to the outdoors and protecting our special places, your work deserves to be celebrated"
We were awarded a grant to construct kiosks on the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail
